White Modern Vase
Balloon-shaped stoneware vase covered in a smooth, Nuka glaze, an ash-based glaze made from wood or rice that's been used by Korean and Japanese ceramicists for centuries. I love it because it has the smoothness and opacity of milk, and contrasts strongly with the rougher, more bronzed clay base. Fired in the wood kilns in Chester Springs.
4.5 by 2.75 inches.
