Dark Blue Bud Vase
Cobalt in the glaze turned this tulip-shaped bud vase a clear, pure blue with a little frosting on the side from ash flying through the kiln. The bare clay is bronze on the cool side and gray on the hot side where it was facing the flame.
Fired in the wood kiln at the Community Arts Center in Wallingford, PA.
